Golfing in Perthshire
For a superb golfing holiday you need not look any further than Perthshire. Perthshire has 40 golf courses all set amongst terrific scenery. Almost every town has at least one course nearby with prices for a round averaging out at about £20.
Aberfeldy itself has it's own golf course which was established
in 1895. It 
began
it's life as a 9 hole course but in it's centenary year, 1995, it was extended to an 18 hole
course. An unusual feature of this expansion was the erection of a bridge over the River Tay
to allow players to cross to the new holes. This is so unique it merited an entry into the
Guinness Book of Records.
